Thank you very much for purchasing the optional IP55 rating cover "CTP-A1" for TP-A1-XXX keypad.
This manual describes the installation procedure of this optional cover. By installing this cover with the
TP-A1-XXX keypad in the external surface of a switch cabinet, the keypad is protected from dust and water
splash, achieving IP55 ingress protection rating.
• Read through this manual in conjunction with the instruction manual of FRENIC HVAC, FRENIC AQUA, FRENIC Lift,
FRENIC Ace inverters and TP-A-XXX keypad, to become familiar with proper handling and correct use.
• Improper installation may result in not fulfilling IP55 rating. Please follow the installation procedures written in this manual.
• This cover can be used only in combination with TP-A1-XXX keypad. Do not attempt to use with other types, even from Fuji
Electric.
• Deliver this manual to the end user of this product.
• Failure to heed the information described in this manual may lead to a loss of any liability by Fuji Electric Europe GmbH.

- Page 3 Installation Procedure Please refer to the drawing included in the Annex of this manual that describes the installation holes of the keypad and the optional cover CTP-A1. Mark the holes on the surface where the keypad and cover will be installed, according to the drawing of Annex I.
- Page 4 Attach the TP-A1-XXX keypad to the CTP-A1 cover and move slightly down the upper metal positioner until it interferes with the upper side of the keypad. Then fasten completely the 2 fixing screws, as shown in figure 4 below. Check that the keypad does not fall apart.
- Page 5 Fix the CTP-A1 cover, by using the 4 M4 screws (already placed in the cover). Tighten the cover carefully by using 4 M4 nuts and washers (not provided with the package), as shown in figure 6a below. Tighten the nuts until the gasket is completely compressed and can be hardly seen, as shown in figure 6b below. The screws provided are suitable for a panel door thickness up to 2 mm.
