Do not allow children to take their temperature unattended.
Read the enclosed instructions carefully to ensure accurate temperature readings.
Temperature readings are affected by many factors including exercise, drinking
hot or cold beverages prior to taking, and technique.
Do not allow children to walk or run during temperature taking. The rigid probe
could present a hazard.
Oral, underarm, and rectal temperatures vary by approximately 1°F (0.5°C).

    Oral, Rectal or Underarm use. ■ HOW TO CARE FOR THIS PRODUCT The thermometer should be cleaned after every use even when probe covers are ■ used. Clean the thermometer tip and probe using isopropyl alcohol or soap and water.

    Select oral, underarm or rectal as your measurement site (see following instruc- tions). Push the START button located at the top of the thermometer. The thermometer will beep and the display will show all symbols.. This is a function check indi- cating the unit is working properly.

    Wash the thermometer as recommended. ■ Approximate measurement time is 60 seconds. ■ Once used rectally, the thermometer should not be used orally for sanitary reasons. ■ CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS Wash the area extending about 2” from the tip with warm, soapy water after each use and dry thoroughly.

    Wait until “L” symbol appears and °F (°C) starts flashing. Press and hold START button until °F (°C) symbol flashes five times. Release the START button. The thermometer is now changed to °C (°F). The thermometer is now ready for measurement.
