Faithtech FT68200 Operation Manual 2.7.2. V-sense connection The load provides remote voltage sense and local voltage sense. This can be configured through the "Set" -> "APG" sub menu from the menu system. Local sense Remote sense When the load is working, the input current will produce a certain voltage drop on the contact resistance between the port and the wire, which will affect the voltage measurement accuracy of the load.
When the power or current of the power supply under test exceeds the specifications of the electronic load, two or more loads can be connected in parallel to increase the load current and load power. FT68200 series allow for master-slave parallel operation of up to 10 identical loads.
In remote operation mode, the load can only be controlled by programming commands. To return to the local operation mode, just press the Enter key. 3.2. Static Test FT68200 series load provides four kinds of static operation modes: Constant Current (CC), Constant Voltage (CV), Constant Resistance (CR) and Constant Power (CP).
Faithtech FT68200 Operation Manual 3.2.1. Constant Current Mode Press to switch to CC mode. Figure 3- 1 CC Mode Program In CC mode, the load will sink a current in accordance with the programmed value regardless of the input voltage.
Faithtech FT68200 Operation Manual Press , rotate the rotary knob to change the current value, or press number key to input the current value, finally press “Enter” key again to validate the input. Set Current Limit FT68200 provides "current upper limit" and "current lower limit" setting items. When these two parameters are set to non-zero values, the current setting range in constant current mode is limited between the upper current limit and the lower current limit.
Page 39
Faithtech FT68200 Operation Manual Figure 3- 4 CV Mode Switch Voltage Range CV mode has two ranges: low range and high range. The low range provides better resolution at low voltage setting, while high range provides high votage loading. Press to switch between high and low ranges.
Faithtech FT68200 Operation Manual Press (Menu) to go to main menu; Select “Set”->“Limit”, Press to go to limit setting page; Select “V_MAX” and “V_MIN”, to set the desired value. 3.2.3. Constant Resistance Mode Press to switch to CR mode. Figure 3-5 CR Mode In CR mode, the load will sink a resistance in accordance with the programmed value regardless of the input voltage.
Faithtech FT68200 Operation Manual Set Resistance Limit FT68200 provides "resistance upper limit" and "resistance lower limit" setting items. When these two parameters are set to non-zero values, the resistance setting range in constant resistance mode is limited between the upper limit and the lower limit. This function can prevent user misoperation and protect the device under test.
Faithtech FT68200 Operation Manual Set Load Power Press , rotate the rotary knob to change the power value, or press number key to input power value, finally press “Enter” key again to validate the input. Set power limit FT68200 provides "power upper limit" and "power lower limit" setting items. When these two parameters are set to non-zero values, the power setting range in the constant power mode is limited between the power upper limit and the power lower limit.
Page 43
Faithtech FT68200 Operation Manual In continuous mode, the electronic load will continuously switch between CC-1 and CC-2. Unless you exit the dynamic test or turn off the load, the load will continue to execute according to the set parameters, and this method is not affected by the trigger signal.
