Damage from Sugary Spills and Melt ed Plast ic
Special care should be t aken when removing hot subst ances
t o avoid permanent damage of t he glass surface . Sugary
spillovers (such as jellies, fudge, candy, syrups) or melt ed
plast ics can cause pit t ing of t he surface of your cookt op
(not covered by t he warrant y) unless t he spill is removed
while st ill hot . Special care should be t aken when removing
hot subst ances.
Be sure t o use a new, sharp razor scraper.
Do not use a dull or nicked blade.
1.
Turn off all surface unit s. Remove hot pans.
2.
Wearing an oven mit t :
a. Use a single- edge razor blade scraper (ceramic
cookt op scraper) t o move t he spill t o a cool area on
t he cookt op.
b. Remove t he spill wit h paper t owels.
3.
Any remaining spillover should be left unt il t he surface of
t he cookt op has cooled.
4.
Don't use t he surface unit s again unt il all of t he residue
has been complet ely removed.
NOTE: If pit t ing or indent at ion in t he glass surface has
already occurred, t he cookt op glass will have t o be replaced.
In t his case, service will be necessary.

Cleaning t he Oven Door
Cleaning t he Door Int erior
Do not allow excess wat er t o run int o any holes or slot s in t he
door .
Wipe dish soap over any baked- on spat t ers on t he glass. Use
a single sided safet y razor blade t o clean it off. Then wipe
over t he glass wit h a soapy clot h t o remove any residue and
dry off.
The area out side t he gasket can be cleaned wit h a soap- filled
plast ic scouring pad. Do not rub or clean t he door gasket - it
has an ext remely low resist ance t o abrasion.
If you not ice t he gasket becoming worn, frayed or damaged
in any way or if it has become displaced on t he door, you
should have it replaced.
Cleaning t he Door Ext erior
If a st ain on t he door vent t rim is persist ent , use a mild
abrasive cleaner and a sponge- scrubber for best result s.
Do not use t his met hod on any ot her surface.

St ainless St eel Surfaces
Do not use a st eel wool pad; it will scrat ch t he surface.
To clean t he st ainless st eel surface, use warm sudsy wat er or
a st ainless st eel cleaner or polish. Always wipe t he surface in
t he direct ion of t he grain. Follow t he cleaner inst ruct ions for
cleaning t he st ainless st eel surface.

Removable St orage Drawer
The st orage drawer is a good place t o st ore cookware and
bakeware. Do not st ore plast ics or flammable mat erial in
t he drawer.
The st orage drawer may be removed for cleaning under
t he range. Clean t he st orage drawer wit h a damp clot h or
sponge. Never use harsh abrasives or scouring pads.
Removing t he St orage Drawer
1.
Pull drawer st raight out unt il it st ops.
2.
Cont inue t o pull t he drawer unt il it is det ached from
t he oven.
Replacing t he St orage Drawer
1.
Rest t he left drawer rail around t he inner left rail guide
and slide it in slight ly.
2.
Place t he right drawer rail around t he inner right rail
guide and slide it in slight ly.
3.
Slide t he drawer all t he way in.
