KEEPING THINGS CLEAN Cleaning the Filters Clean the Pre-Filter surface with a vacuum cleaner or wash with water to remove large particles like hair, dust, pollen, and dander that may be entangled. Do this approximately twice per month. Gently clean the front side of the Cold Catalyst+Activated Carbon Filter with a vacuum cleaner. - Page 15 KEEPING THINGS CLEAN (CONT.) When Should Filters Be Replaced? When the air sanitizer is used regularly, it is recommended that Filter #2 (Catalyst+Activated Carbon) and Filter #3 (Antibacterial Cotton+HEPA) be replaced every 6-8 months, while every 2 years for Filter #1 (Pre- Filter).
