Speedometer/Tachometer/Fuel gauge/Side stand indicator area
Display type: TYPE 1
Side stand indicator
Comes on when the side stand is down.
Tachometer
NOTICE
Do not operate the engine in the
tachometer red zone. Excessive engine
speed can adversely affect engine life.
Tachometer red zone
(excessive engine rpm range)
Fuel gauge
Remaining fuel when only 1st (E) segment
starts flashing: approximately 3.5 L (0.92
US gal, 0.77 Imp gal)
At the same time, the reserve fuel indicator
is comes on.

Speedometer
NOTICE
You should refuel when the reading approaches
the E (1st) segment. Running out of fuel can
cause the engine to misfire, damaging the
catalytic converter.
If the fuel gauge indicator flashes in a
repeat pattern or turns off:
