4. Operation of the device

4.1 Connecting the device
All installation activities should be performed with the power cord of the tuner and the TV
disconnected.
Connect the antenna to the RF IN on the back of the tuner. The tuner and the TV set can
be connected in two ways: using the HDMI or SCART interface (the so-called Euro
connector). Connect the HDMI or SCART connectors on both devices with an HDMI or
SCART cable, respectively (cables not included). Connect the power cables of the tuner
and TV to the mains.
Remote control:
POWER button - turn off
MUTE button - mute sounds
GOTO button - PVR function button
PRT button - PVR function button
SUB-T button - turn on subtitles
AUDIO button - change the soundtrack
REV button - scroll back
FWD button - fast forward
PREV button - previous track
NEXT button - next track
PLAY button - starting playback
PAUSE button - pauses playback
STOP button - stop playback
REC button - start recording
PVR button - turns on the PVR menu
V-FORMAT button - changing image resolution
ASPECT button - change the image format
TIMER button - turns on the TIMER menu
MENU button - opens the main menu
EXIT button - exit from the current menu
CH + / CH - button - next / previous channel or navigating
vertically through the menu
VOL- / VOL + button - change the volume or move through the
menu horizontally
OK button - confirmation of the selection
I button - display information about the current channel
EPG button - electronic program guide
TXT button - turns on teletext
0-9 numeric buttons - manual channel selection
TV / RADIO button - switches between TV and Radio
FAV button - list of favourite channels
