ATOM 250 WINCH USER GUIDE
Position the wheelchair centrally at the bottom of the
ramp. Holding one of the winch remote controls in
your hand, enter the vehicle and locate the winch
unit.
Press the 'OUT' button on the remote control and guide
the winch belt out of the vehicle and down the ramp
towards the wheelchair.
Click the wheelchair attachment (either T bar or Y
harness) onto the end of the winch belt.
Secure the wheelchair attachment to the wheelchair. The
pictures shows a tongue & buckle fitting but it could be a
J hook or karabiner. Ensure you are using the correct
anchor points. Every wheelchair is different, refer to the
wheelchair handbook if you are not sure where they are.
Locate and press the switch that activates and releases
the wheelchair restraints.

- Page 2 Guide the restraint belts out of the vehicle, down the ramp and attach them to the wheelchair frame. Once attached, press the switch again to lock the restraints from further release. Using the winch remote, press the ‘IN’ button, just until the webbing becomes taut from the winch unit to the wheelchair.
