Cherry Keyboard Programming
This document describes how to program a
Cherry brand keyboard to work with
WordStock so that you can read IndieBound
gift cards with the keyboard's built-in mag-
stripe reader.
• The keyboard model that WordStock uses
is 8000LPBUS 8000LPBUS 8000LPBUS 8000LPBUS.
8000LPBUS
1. If the keyboard is connected to a Windows-based computer, exit all WordStock programs and
open Windows 'Notepad' or another word processing program, such as MS Word.
2. If the keyboard is attached to a QNX-based WordStock computer, close all WordStock programs
and open the word processor in the 'Office' menu. (You need to do this because the program-
ming process will display commands on-screen as you type them.)
