    Introduction to the DVK  Components of the DVK In the following chapters and sections, "module" refers to the MU609 LGA module; "DVK" refers to the MU609 LGA module development kit. 1.2 Introduction to the DVK The DVK provides a complete solution based on the data functions of the module.

    2.2 Setting Up the DVK Please install the DVK kit by the following instructions. The interface board is ME0MC509M as shown in the following figure. The MU609 LGA module is soldered to this board. Huawei Proprietary and Confidential Issue 02 (2016-12-14)
  • Page 9 HUAWEI MU609 HSPA LGA Module Development Kit Guide Installation and Use Guide The mother board is the universal board for the different LGA modules with silk- screen of MD0MC609TM as shown in the following figure. The two boards must be assembled together to achieve the function of the DVK.
  • Page 10 HUAWEI MU609 HSPA LGA Module Development Kit Guide Installation and Use Guide The DVK will be provided to you just as above, so you have no need to do the assembling by yourself. Connect the USB cable to the Micro USB port on the mother board of the DVK.
  • Page 11 HUAWEI MU609 HSPA LGA Module Development Kit Guide Installation and Use Guide If RF communication is required, connect the SMA connectors on the DVK to the external antennas or a radio communication tester by using coaxial cables. The external antennas should be assembled well before turning on the module.

After turning on the module, connect the USB cable to the Mini USB interface on the interface board directly.

And the module can communicate with the host computer through UART. The DVK provide a 2-line interface and a 8-line UART interface.

    HUAWEI MU609 HSPA LGA Module Development Kit Guide Description of the DVK Description of the DVK 3.1 About This Chapter This chapter describes the structure, interface functions, and interface usage of the DVK.  DVK Structure  Interface Functions 3.2 DVK Structure Figure 3-1 and Figure 3-2 show the layout of the DVK.

    After the module is turned on, pressing the POWER_ON_OFF (TERM_ON) button for 2.5s to 10s can turn off the module. 3.3.5 RESET Button When the module is turned on, pressing the reset key can reset the MU609 module. Huawei Proprietary and Confidential Issue 02 (2016-12-14)

The module can support Class B/C SIM card.
