Be sure the HP 8340B/41B has been connected to the AC power line for
30 days before beginning this test. If the instrument was disconnected
from the ac power line for less than 24 hours, it only has to be connected
to AC power for 24 hours before proceeding.
Procedure
1. Connect the equipment as shown in Figure 4-1.

Adjust the oscilloscope external triggering controls for a stable display of the HP 8340B/41B 10
MHz REF OUTPUT signal.
