You can shave 2 to 3 times after "20" blinks. (This will differ depending on usage.)
The appliance may not operate in an ambient temperature lower than approximately 5 °C (41
°F).
The shaving sensor may not respond depending on the type and quantity of the shaving gel. This
is not abnormal.
Depending on the beard thickness or the amount of beard trimmings in the shaver head, the
shaving sensor may not react and the driving sound may not change. This is not abnormal.
To prevent erroneous operation, place your fingers on the thumb rest while using the shaver.
The sonic vibration cleaning mode is activated when the power switch is pressed for more than
2 seconds while the shaver is not operating. You cannot shave in this mode.
How to charge the shaver. - ES-8243
1. Insert the appliance plug into the shaver.
2. Plug in the adaptor into a household outlet.

The indicators on the LCD panel glow and charging starts.
o
Charging is completed when the indicators on the LCD panel blink. (Max. 1 hour later)

If the shape of the plug does not fit the power outlet, use an attachment plug adaptor of
the proper configuration.
Reading the LCD panel
The LCD panel shows the remaining battery capacity from 0% to 100%, in 10% increments.
While charging, the indicators glow.
After charging is completed, the indicators blink once every second.
10 minutes after charging is completed, the indicators blink once every 2 seconds.
During use, the used time is shown. The shown time returns to [0'00"] after 10 minutes.
After use, the used time and the remaining battery capacity are shown alternately after turning
off the shaver.
When the battery capacity is low, you can shave 1 to 2 times after "10%" appears and
blinks. (This will differ depending on usage.)
A full charge will supply enough power for approx. 14 shaves of 3 minutes each.
