- Page 2 This document provides instructions for replacing battery packs in the ONEAC ON Series 3300VA and 5000VA model UPS products. ONEAC ONBP-517 battery packs can be replaced without turning off the power or disrupting the protected equipment. Contact ONEAC Technical Services if your battery cabinet has a KS or CR prefix in the model number.

CAUTION: Each battery string consists of two ONBP-517 battery packs. Replace both packs at the same time. Premature battery failure or equipment damage can occur if old and new batteries are mixed.
- Page 4 Replacing ONXBC Batteries C. Tilt the bracket at an angle and completely remove the bracket from the cabinet. 4. Use the battery pack binding strap (NOT THE BATTERY CABLE) to pull the left battery pack out 2 - 4 inches. NOTE: Each battery pack weighs 70 pounds.
- Page 5 Battery Disposal Battery Disposal UPS batteries contain toxic and acidic materials. Disposal method must adhere to local/national recycling laws. Dispose of the battery in one of three ways: • Return batteries prepaid to ONEAC by following these steps: 1. After the battery pack has been replaced, place the depleted battery pack in the box the same way the replacement was packaged and seal the box.
