Remote Spotlight System
Setup and operating instructions 10-08-2021
Thank you for purchasing a Ghost Eye Remote Spotlight System. Each system is handmade in our
workshop with parts either fabricated by us or sourced from reliable electronics manufacturers.
These systems are built to suit the spotlight that is fitted, do not attempt to retrofit your own light.
Please note that modifications to electronic parts and programing the brain of the system, all must be
done by us to get the system to perform at the speeds, range and sensitivity that we have found to be
the best in the field.
We provide a 1 year warranty on these lights and stand by them 100%, and ask that if by the off chance
you have any issues with it, that you notify us and allow us to rectify it before feeling the need to give us
negative reviews on social media or amongst your friends.
IMPORTANT:
Polarity:
It is very, very important that when attaching your alligator clips to your battery that you get positive
and negative correct.
Positive + Red Clip
Negative – Black Clip
If this is hooked up incorrectly, even for split second, it can possibly cause damage to the power supplies
and other sensitive components. Although all these parts are replaceable or repairable by us, your light
will not function until we have fixed this.
Please pay particular attention to it when attaching to your battery.
HID LIGHTS and BATTERY QUALITY:
Please note that HID Spotlights require a lot of power to start up, having a good quality battery with
plenty of charge is important for correct functionality of the light system. Bad connections or low charge
in vehicle batteries can adversely affect the operation of the light system.
POWA BEAM MODELS:
These models have electronics protection built in, so when the light is first turned on it will not respond
to inputs for 10 seconds whilst the light warms up.
Mounting your light:
The spotlight system is synced to the control knob, meaning wherever the line on the knob is pointing, is
where the light will point once it is turned on. This means that the light frame needs to be mounted
facing forward, square to the vehicle and also level, so that you will get the correct up and down travel
and rotation. There is up and down adjustment available on the back leg.
