    2 Technical Data 2.1 Dimensions The Housing of the ATOM one - Motor Drive fits exact to the housing of the of the ATOM one and all ATOM one 4k mini models. For simple mounting the motor has two 1/4” x 5mm tripod threads at the bottom side.

    Technical Data 2.2 Power Consumption The ATOM one - Motor Drive is powered through the camera. The power Consumption depends on the actual load of the Motors. The maximal power consumption is 2,9 W. The maximum power consumption of motor drive and ATOM one 4k mini 16 is less than 12 W, so that it can be powered at 12V with less than 1A.

    The motor position can be adjusted to reach the iris, focus or zoom position.     Lens preparation 3.2 Lens gear assembly The ATOM one - Motor Drive comes with a set of special rubber gears. The set includes 2 pieces of 25,30,35 and 40mm each. This gives a wide range of lenses to be supported. These gears can expand by +5mm.

  • Page 10 Slide the Motor from the back of the camera to the back over the connector plate: There are two M2 hex screws on the bottom of the ATOM one - Motor Drive . The mount lock and motor adjust screw. Both are M2 hex.
  • Page 11 Setting up the Motor Drive Now adjust the gears to the lens. Make sure, that the Motor adjust screw is loose. The motor tubes can be pulled out of the housing, turned with a maximal angle of 90°. Make sure, that the force pressing the motor gear in the lens gear is not too high.

    Setting up the Motor Drive 4.2 Optimize the motor parameters It is recommended to optimize some motor parameters to get the best movement of your lens for your needs. 4.2.1 Optimize the Torque Parameter The torque parameter is used by the motor to find the boundaries of the lens movement.
  • Page 13 Setting up the Motor Drive There are two possibilities to set the table. 1. Use the corresponding Lens Template. 2. If the used lens has no template, all F-Stops have to be filled in the table by hand. If all values are filled in correctly press ‘Transmit Table to Camera’ to store the table in the camera.

    Motor Operation 5 Motor Operation 5.1 RCP Remote Control The ATOM one - Motor Drive is already integrated in the RCPs of CyanView, Skaarhoj and in the Atom Wico Box to work with the Sony RCP1500. 5.2 ProVideo Control Software The ATOM one - Motor Drive is fully integrated in the ProVideo camera control software.

    Prove the connector of the motor to the camera. Make sure that the camera is running a firmware version that supports the lens drive interface. The ATOM one needs min. v.1.2.12, the ATOM one 4k mini needs min. v1.1.11. 6.3 Q: Where can I find firmware updates for my camera?
