1 Introduction You have just purchased an AviTrac® audible frightener and its solar panel option. Reading this instruction manual will help you get the most out of your appliance. Please follow the instructions in these instructions for use and keep them in a safe place so that you can consult them at any time.

It is advisable to combine several scaring methods (kites, scaring balloons, etc.) to make the threat as realistic as possible, especially when bird activity is very high. Finally, audible and visual frightening is most effective when used preventively. The solar panel recharges the battery inside the AviTrac®’s waterproof casing. This is a lead type battery.

2 Information about photovoltaic panels 2.1 Placement and orientation of the panel In order to optimise the production of the solar panel, it is preferable to orient it facing south. Actions to be carried out Illustration Once the panel is fixed to the mounting brackets, screw them to the AviTrac® frame using the 4 hexagonal nuts and screws, starting with the holes at the bottom. To tighten the nut, use a 13 mm socket spanner (not supplied).
