    Once the installation is finished, this makes it easy to confirm visually that all removed parts made their way back into the car. Do not make any changes or modifications to Mosselman Oil Cooler Kit. The engine can get extremely hot during and after it has been used. Allow the engine to cool down before beginning installation.
  • Page 6 Installation 2.1 Installation environment. • Find a suitable place for installation (preferably inside). • Open the hood. • The engine can get extremely hot during and after it has been used. Make sure not to touch the engine until it is completely cool.
  • Page 7 Installation 2.2 Remove the wheel. • Lift the car properly and remove the wheel on the right side. • Remove the covers located in fig. 2.1.
  • Page 8 Installation 2.3 Optional: Removing the floor panel • Removing the floor panel is optional, but it will make the installation easier. Oil can leak into the engine bay during the installation of the oil cooler and thermostat. Removing the floor panel makes it easier to clean it afterward.

  • Page 11 Installation 2.6 Remove the oil lines • Remove the bolt located in fig. 6.2 and remove the oil lines completely from the engine bay. Beware: oil may leak out from the oil lines, use paper towels to prevent oil from leaking into the engine bay.

  • Page 15 2.11 Install the oil thermostat • Place the Mosselman oil thermostat on the housing and tighten the 3 bolts with 18Nm of torque (fig. 11.1). • Put new o-rings on the oil adapter and install it (fig. 11.2). Tighten the bolt with 19Nm of torque.
