  • Page 2 The Receiver How to turn it on and off Slide the on/off switch. (See photo, below left.) When you switch the receiver on, it will vibrate for one second, letting you know it is activated. It does not vibrate when you switch it off.
  • Page 3 Theory of Operation Using ColorMatch Pocket ColorMatch Pocket comes ready to use. Turn on your receiver, open the crayon box lid, and remove one of six crayons. The transmitter in the box will send a number to the receiver corresponding to the crayon position that was removed. This can take up to 30 seconds if the box has been sitting unused for more than one hour (see "Tips"...
  • Page 4 How the Numbers are Sent ColorMatch Pocket has six crayon positions. The transmitter inside sends out one to six pulses, according to which crayon is removed. The receiver vibrates or ―buzzes‖ in response, telling you what you need to know. Each sequence of buzzes is followed by a pause.
