instructions are handed to the householder.
Please read this manual prior to installation or use.
Always isolate the mains power supply before removing the unit.
Please leave these instructions with the end user where they should be kept in a safe place for future
reference.
Features

- Simple attachment with elastic tensioning band
- Simple operation with dial
- Setting range from 40°C to 80°C
- Simple electrical connection with generously sized terminals.
Mounting
Remove any insulation from the area around where the thermostat is to be located.
Position the thermostat against the heating pipe and secure it with the elastic tensioning band
provided. The thermostat must be secured firmly against the pipe.
Trim off any excess tensioning band.
Electrical Connection
Ensure mains power has been isolated.
Open the thermostat by removing the dial and loosening the large plastic screw (anticlockwise).
Remove the housing cover.
The 4 terminals should be connected as follows:
• Terminals C and 1
The thermostat opens when temperature exceeds setting, and closes when the temperature falls
below. (E.g. function = "heating")
• Terminals C and 2
The thermostat closes when temperature exceeds setting and opens when the temperature falls
below. (E.g. function = "cooling")
• Terminal
= Earth
The installation may only be carried out by professional installers in accordance with the connection
plan and in compliance with the current IEE wiring regulations.
The maximum switching current indicated in the technical data must be observed!
