Do not place the induction hotplate next to units or objects, which react
sensitively to magnetic fields (e.g. radios, TVs, cassette recorders, etc.).
Do not place the induction hotplate next to open fires, heaters or other
sources of heat.
Make sure that the mains connection cable is not damaged or squashed
beneath the unit. Make sure that the mains connection cable does not come
into contact with sharp edges and/or hot surfaces.

Cookware

Suitable cookwares are flat and magnetic pans and pots, which is made from
cast iron of steel. If a magnet sticks on the bottom, the cookware can be
used. Stainless steel, cast iron, enamelled pans, flat-bottom pans and pots
with a diameter of 16 to 26 cm can be used. Some 18/10 steel pans and pots
with magnetisable bottom can also be used.
The diameter of the cookware should be from 16 – 26 cm. You can also use
cookware with larger diameter, but the area larger than 26 cm will not be
heated up sufficiently.
Cookware made from aluminium, copper or glass cannot be used. Pots/pans
with a diameter of less than 16 cm or ceramic pots and cookware with feet
cannot be used.

Operating the Unit

1. Connect the unit to a separate electrical circuit. Do not use the induction
hotplate on the same outlet with other units.
2. Plug the power plug into a suitable outlet. On the display you will see the icon
– L – and you will hear an acoustic signal sounds. Now the unit is in standby
mode.
3. Place suitable cookware in the centre of the cooking plate (1a or 1b). Press
the ON/STANDBY button (6) to turn on the induction hotplate. The LED
above the HEAT button will start flashing.
4. Now press the HEAT button (5). The preset power stage 5 is displayed and
the hotplate will start heating. With the +button (4) resp. the –button (3) you
can change the settings at any time. Settings in a range from 1 – 10 are
possible. Each time you change the stage you will hear a short confirmation
sound.
5. Once the cooking or warming process is finished, press the ON/STANDBY
button (6). First, the icon – H – will be displayed in order to indicate that there
is residual heat. As soon as the hotplate has cooled down, the icon – L – will
be displayed.
