4.1 Starting and turning off the motor
Starting the motor
1. Plug spark plug connector on the spark plug (Fig. 16).
2 Place mower on a flat surface without high grass.
3 If the motor is cold, press the primer button three times
(Fig.17). If the motor is warm start without pressing the primer
button.
4 Pull up lever to the handlebar and pull up starter rope until
resistance can be felt. Pull up starter rope evenly approx. 1
arm length until the motor starts (Fig. 18).

Do not pull starter rope up to the limit stop or let go
abruptly, but let it slide back slowly to avoid damage to
the rolling-up mechanism.
The motor runs as long as the lever is pulled.
Turning the motor off
Let the lever go.
The cutter will coast for a short time.
Do not touch underneath the mower.
Turn the mower off when driving off the lawn.
Wait until the cutters stand still and remove the spark plug connec-
tor before transporting or lifting the mower.
