All indicator lights will be off during energy saving mode. When the drinking water faucet is used, an operation panel button is pushed, or the system enters auto-cleaning mode the Purlette system will exit energy saving mode and indicator lights will illuminate automatically.
Before Installation Operation Parameters INDOOR USE ONLY we recommend that the Purlette system installed under the kitchen sink. However, you may install the Purlette system in any suitable indoor location away from direct exposure to the environment, with adequate space for the Purlette system to stand upright.

Installation Step 1: Install the three-way feed water ball valve Locate the cold water supply stop valve under the kitchen sink. Turn the incoming cold water off (typically by turning the valve in clockwise direction). Turn on the kitchen faucet to release any pressure in the pipes and to make sure the water has stopped before proceeding to the next step.

How to install an air gap While Purlette can operate without the need for an air gap, your local plumbing code may require one to be installed. Use a Dual Air Gap for Dishwasher and Reverse Osmosis Filters if necessary.

Installation Step 5: Connect water lines to Purlette system Attach quick-connectors to all three water lines and make sure to push in to the marked line until you feel it stop. Slide the locking clip in to secure the water line.

Now it’s time to check the system to make sure that Connection Diagram there are no leaks! Do not plug in the Purlette system at this time. Turn on the cold water supply and open the three-way feed water ball valve. Check each connection point for any leaks.

Installation How to properly install a partition We recommend the power-supply receptacle for the Purlette system be installed in a cabinet or on a wall adjacent to the undercounter space in which the purifier is to be installed. There shall be an opening through the partition between the compartments specified in that is large enough for the power plug to pass through.

• Do not use wet hands to plug or unplug the power cord. • Do not allow flammable/volatile substances near the Purlette system. • Do not allow the Purlette system to be in contact, or close to, the source of heat or open fire.

• The Purlette system is only intended for indoor installation and use. • If you plan not to use the Purlette system for an extended period of time, please disconnect power and close the three-way feed water ball valve. Run the water 3–5 minutes before use when you restart the Purlette system.

Performance Data PL400G system tested and certified by WQA to NSF/ANSI 58 for cadmium, trivalent chromium, lead, and TDS, and NSF/ANSI 372 for low lead, as verified and substantiated by test data. This system has been tested according to NSF/ANSI 58 for reduction of the substances listed below.

Performance Data Test Parameters: Temperature, Pressure, Turbidity, TDS, and pH analyses were conducted at WQA’s Performance Laboratory. Chlorine free deionized water was used which has a conductivity of less than or equal to 1μS/cm. Sodium chloride (NaCl) was then added to the test water to achieve a TDS challenge concentration within range. The following conditioning was performed with water: 1-hour flush, 10-hour soak, 1-hour flush, 12-hour soak, 1-hour flush, 7.5-hour soak, then 5 to 10-minute flush.
