5 - Tickets 5. Tickets Standard parking ticket Parking tickets can be personalised. For example, they may contain the following information: Date; Expiry time; Expiry date; Price of ticket. 5 - Tickets Management ticket (or Statistics ticket) The management ticket is not available with terminals in transaction-based accounting mode. In that case, the data are reported to the server and are not counted locally. Programming function 212 accessible from the programming keypad is used to print a management ticket (or Statistics ticket).

6 - Coin collection Collection with a transfer canister Description of the transfer canister: The locking lever is used to unlock the slide of the transfer canister. The once-only opening system can be reset to prepare the canister for a collection. When the once-only system is reset, the setting dot is white.

IMPORTANT: This method significantly reduces the high security of the canister system. Users are advised against employing this method.

If the collection key has been taken off the transfer canister slide, the agent must put the key back on the canister slide (1) before starting the collection (the key must remain on the canister throughout the collection procedure).

7 - Opening / closing the housing door In the event of an electronic failure, the door can be opened with a mechanical key. The emergency mechanical key offers access to the housing. Users are strongly advised to store it in a secure place accessible to authorised personnel only. To mechanically unlock the electronic lock: Insert the mechanical key in the door (1).

8 - Replenishing supplies Battery Self test Every hour, the parking terminal automatically tests the battery charge level. Replace the battery if the charge voltage is less than 11.5 volts (green LED if the voltage is 11.5 Volts and red LED if the voltage is 11.3 Volts). Replacing a spent battery Switch off the power to the terminal.

Battery Position of the battery WORKSHOP CHARGING: To charge a battery, use a charger recommended by Parkeon, with a constant output voltage located between 13.5 and 14.4 Volts (charger available from the Consumable supplies price list). An unsuitable battery charger could overheat the electrolyte and make the battery explode.

11 - Cleaning tips 11.3 Cleaning the inside NEVER USE a vacuum cleaner directly on printed circuit boards or subassemblies. Switch the terminal off before cleaning the inside of the housing. Use a dry cloth. If needed, dust the various components with a dry cloth or a special soft brush, then vacuum the loosened dust with a vacuum cleaner set to the low-power position.
