Rev1 About this Guide This guide is intended for users of the RedPort Optimizer wXa-223 router. It features only those sections of the user interface that require configuration for a specific service or feature that may need to be accessed by the average user.
GSM support to switch between satellite and GSM when available. Track GPS locations from compatible GPS-enabled devices. Compatible with optional RedPort Halo Wi-Fi Extender and/or RedPort Halo Pro Wi-Fi Extender for access to external Wi-Fi networks, when available.
Halo Wi-Fi Extender - The Halo Long Range Wi-Fi Extender allows users to connect to remote Wi-Fi signal (e.g. at a marina, truck stop, or basecamp) and repeats that signal through the RedPort Optimizer Wi-Fi hotspot. Requires a RedPort Halo Long Range Wi- Fi Extender or Halo Pro Long Range Wi-Fi Extender.
Using a connected GPS-enabled device, submit position reports to a central database for reporting or viewing on a tracking website. Requires service subscription. RedPort VoIP Service - RedPort VoIP service transforms your satellite device into a multi-user unit. Up to four users can send/receive phone calls and/or SMS (text) messages simultaneously.
Connecting any device such as a laptop or switch with a Gigabit ethernet, 1000Mbps speed NIC will potentially put your device or port at risk of damage or burn out. RedPort does not provide coverage or warranty for this damage. Connect any device of this nature at your own risk.
wXa-223 Optimizer Rev1 4.
