Question
The "CAN NOT
EDIT VIDEO"
message
appears.
Why is a noise
heard from a
nearby TV or
radio during
battery
recharging?
Why does the
Misc.
"CARD FULL"
message appear?
Why does the
"CARD IS
PROTECTED"
message appear?
Why can't the
camera be
operated?
Answer
You have
attempted to join
video clips having
different
resolutions or
frame rates.
Electromagnetic
waves are emitted
from the AC
adaptor/charger.
There is no more
available memory
on the card.
The lock switch on
the card is in the
locked (protect)
position.
A temporary
internal circuitry
problem may be
the cause.
Action
Select video clips
that have the same
resolution or frame
rates.
Move the AC
adaptor/charger
further away from
the TV or radio
when recharging
batteries.
Erase unnecessary
data, or use a card
that has more
memory available.
Move the lock switch
to the unlocked
position.
Remove the battery
pack from the
camera, wait a few
minutes, then
reinstall the battery
pack and try again.
