5. DIAGNOSIS

5.1 TROUBLESHOOTING

[1] Abnormality regarding startup
A
The unit is not turned ON.
Is the Power cord
securely plugged in?
Yes
Is the fuse (FU01) on
the AC PCB Assy intact

(not blown)?
Yes
Does the POWER switch
(SW201) on the
PLAY PCB Assy work?
Yes
Are CN901 and CN103 on
the D.D. MOTOR Assy
securely connected?
Yes

Is the chip fuse (P04) on
the D.D. MOTOR Assy intact
(not blown)?
Yes
Some part may be in failure.
Replace the AC&PLAY PCB Assy, transformer, D.D. MOTOR Assy, then the
MAIN PCB Assy, in that order.
The turntable does not rotate, even
though the unit is turned ON.

Is the voltage selector
properly switched?
Yes
Is there any foreign
matter between the
turntable and motor?

Are the chip fuses (P03/05/06/07)
on the D.D. MOTOR Assy
intact (not blown)?

Does the PL/ST switch

button LED light when the
