Locate studs in the wall if applicable. Check to make sure the location you want to install the hook doesn’t damage any electrical wires, gas pipes, water pipes or other items within your wall. 2. Using a level or ruler, mark a horizontal line with a pencil on the wall. The line you make will indicate the position of the bottom of the bar mounts (A).
