Lumbosacral corset with supporting straps

1. Characteristics

Lumbosacral corset with supporting straps is made of elastic
compression fabric fastened by Velcro at the front. It consists of
flexible underwires and aluminium stays which relieve and stabilize the
spine and of system of tightening straps which adjust stabilization
force. Owing to the spatial structure of compression fabric, the corset
is air permeable and removes excessive heat and moisture perfectly.
The height of the corset is appropriate to stabilize the lumbar segment
of spine.

2. Application

Lumbosacral corset with supporting straps is used to reduce pain, in
decompression of nerve roots, in local stabilization of spine as well as
in strengthening during tilting a patient to erect position who suffers
from orthopedic or neurologic injury. Owing to elastic fabric, the
material has compression effect on the muscles within the trunk.
Indications for use:

• Inflammations of spine joints
• Overload pain
• Degenerative changes
• Neuropathic and radicular syndrome
• Increased and painful states of back muscle tone
• In post-surgery treatment
