POWER ANTENNA RELAY
The power antennâ relay is mounted as shown m
Figure 9-9R.

L Lower antenna by turning off radio or ignition.
2. Disconnecl battery groùnd câble
NOTICE: If the mast had failed in the UP position,
ând the mast or entirc assembly is being replaced, the
mast may be cut oiï to facilitate removâl
3. Remove fender skirt attaching screws.
4. Pull down on rear edge of skirt and block with a 2"
x 4" block of wood.
5, Remove escutcheon nut at fender ùsing Tool J-
2864r.
6. Disconnect electrical leads and remov€ antenna and
7. To install, r€verse Steps l-6 above. Be sure mast is
in the fully retracted position before installation ând lower
bracket âttachment is secured by fender skirt attaching
POWER ANTENNA RELAY
The power antenna relay is mounted as shown in figllre
9-11R.

Rgmoval
L Remove power antenna assembly from vehicle as
described previously.
2. Scribe â reference mark on th€ mast support tube and
câsting to insure correct inslallation of repiacemeût pârt
