    DO NOT attempt to defeat the interlock. The use of attachments not expressly authorised or sold by Vitamix for use with this blender, including preserving jars, may cause fire, electric shock or injury. 10. DO NOT use your 0.6-litre cup to heat ingredients or to blend hot liquids. Heated ingredients and liquids may create internal pressure which could cause the cup to burst and cause injury.

Any repair and servicing, or the replacement of parts must be performed by Vitamix or an authorised service representative.

    a r t S a n d e at u r e S Flip-Top Lid The seal MUST be in place to avoid leaks when using the 0.6-litre container as a to-go cup. Overflow Opening (top rack dishwasher safe, is located on the back DO NOT use in a microwave) of the motor base.

    o n t r o l a n e l Power Indication: When the stop symbol (O) brightens, this indicates that the machine is plugged in and power is flowing. Before beginning any blending cycle, always make sure that the variable-speed control is pointed at the stop symbol (O).

  • Page 8: Tips And Techniques

    • Once ingredients begin circulating, increase to the speed recommended in the Vitamix recipe. Operating at a lower speed than suggested can cause the motor to overheat. Blend for the full processing time suggested in the recipe.

  • Page 9: Tamper

    If the tamper you are using touches the blades at any angle, DO NOT use that tamper. Contact Vitamix Customer Services on 1.800.848.2649 or 1.440.235.4840 to order a new tamper, appropriate for use with your 1.2-litre container.

    a r e a n d l e a n i n g Note: Clean the threads on the adapter and seals thoroughly to avoid ingredient build-up. Ingredient build-up might cause problems when trying to remove the blade base from the personal cup if it has been attached and allowed to sit for a long period of time.

    WHAT IS COVERED? Vitamix warrants to the owner that if this Machine (a ’Machine’ consists of a motor blender base and any containers purchased together) fails within 7 years from the date of purchase due to a defect in material or workmanship or as a result of normal wear and tear from ordinary household use, Vitamix will, within 30 days of receipt of the returned product, repair the failed Machine or component part of the Machine free of charge.
