E . Fuel filter & fuel tank air filter are considered to be maintenance free but periodic
inspection is recommended for this maintenance schedule depending on fuel
quality . If there are some important safety matters like fuel flow restriction,
surging, loss of power, hard starting problems, etc ., replace the fuel filter
immediately regardless of maintenance schedule and consult an authorized Kia
dealer for details .
F . Front/rear differential oil should be changed anytime they have been submerged
in water . When replacing differential oil with LSD, use only specified LSD oil .
G . Inspect for excessive tappet noise and/or engine vibration and adjust if
necessary .
H . Inspect alternator, water pump and air conditioner drive belt and if necessary,
repair or replace .Inspect drive belt tensioner, idler and alternator pulley and if
necessary correct or replace .
