Metro DataVac STARSYS SX595 Installation Instructions

Assembly consists of (1) Hospital Grade, 6 outlet, 15-ft Power Strip, (1) Cord Wrap,
1.
Both the OVERBRIDGE AND THE POWER STRIP must be installed as ONE ASSEMBLY
onto the Starsys cart. Both the power strip and overbridge instructions must be used.
2.
On the rear of the power strip, place #6-32 x 1/2 screws in cross-slots. Insert screws into
the holes on the cord wrap's long plate. Secure with (2) #6-32 nuts. Power strip is now
anchored to the cord wrap.

Determine which rear corner the power strip/ cord wrap is to be located. On the matching
overbridge support leg, align holes in cord wrap and support leg. Distance will be 21".
4.
Take the (2) #8-32 x 2" screws (supplied in the power strip hardware bag) and insert them
through cord wrap and overbridge leg. As detailed in the overbridge instructions, place
spacers and cam nuts on to #8-32x 2" screws. Do not tighten. Assemble the screws,
spacers and cam nuts (supplied with overbridge) into the other overbridge support leg.
5.
Place the overbridge/ power strip against the rear of the cart, Aligning cam nuts with
cutouts in filler strips. Insert cam nuts into the post slots and tighten. Make sure cam nuts
lock into the post slot. Loop cord around wrap.
