CAUTION Do not use an ohmmeter scale that has a high internal current. High currents may damage the diodes under test. When selecting replacement parts, it is important to remember that the physical size and shape of a component may affect its performance in the instru ment, particularly at high frequencies.

Service The spring tension of the pin sockets ensures a good connection between the circuit board and the pin. This spring tension can be destroyed by using the pin sockets as a connecting point for spring-loaded probe tips, alligator dips, etc.
