Instrument features are the same with the solid state drive as with the standard drive. The solid state drive is faster and more rugged than a standard drive. For a list of available options, see the Tektronix Web site (www.tektronix.com) or your Tektronix representative. - Page 4 Installation Instructions Removal and Installation Refer to the graphic when using the following procedure: 1. Power off the instrument. 2. For DPO/MSO5000 instruments, remove the drive cover. 3. Loosen the thumb screw(s) and remove the hard drive as shown. 4. Install the solid state drive as shown, and then tighten the thumb screws to secure the drive in the instrument.
