If you detect smoke, unusual odors, or strange noises around the printer, immediately press the POWER button to turn off the printer and disconnect the power plug. To avoid fire or electric shock, never use the printer under these conditions. Call the Customer Care Center.
To avoid printer malfunction always use the POWER button to turn the printer on and off. Never remove the power cord from the power outlet until you have turned off the printer by pressing the POWER button. After the POWER/ERROR light goes out, you can unplug the power cord from the power outlet.
