10.2 Tips for storing wine
Note the following tips for storing
wine.
¡ Do not store the wine bottles in
crates or boxes in the appliance.
The open bottle shelves allow for
continuous air circulation. As a res-
ult, excess humidity is quickly re-
moved.
¡ Before you enjoy your wine, you
should slowly warm it to room tem-
perature. Take rosé out of the ap-
pliance two to five hours before
consuming, and take red wine out
of the appliance four to five hours
before consuming. Serve white
wine immediately after taking it out
of the appliance. Sparkling wine
and champagne should be chilled
in the refrigerator for a short while
before drinking.
¡ Always store wine a little cooler
than its ideal serving temperature,
as the wine warms up as soon as
it is poured into the glass.
