FLOW TEST
If the flow continues for longer than the set time, the unit will send a
warning. If the flow continues during the entire selected timeout period,
the unit will send an alarm and close the valve. You can set the flow time
separately for the settings Home and Away If an alarm is tripped when in
the Away state, no prior warning will be given before the water flow is
cut (see Operational settings)
VOLUME TEST
The flow sensor calculates the flow volume per given time unit, and
prevents major water damage in case of leakage. If the flow passes the
set maximum volume of litres per minute, the unit will send an alarm
and then immediately close the valve. You can also select the maximum
flow volume per hour and per 24-hour period in order to make it easier to
notice abnormal water consumption.
TIGHTNESS TEST
This analysis protects the building from hidden leakage. The valve is closed,
and a pressure test of the piping is performed. If the pressure drops
under a set level, the pressure test registers as failed. The total volume
of water the unit will react to is dependant on the size of the HVAC unit.
The unit will cancel the test if the client needs water, and the valve will
open again. The unit will send a warning if several repeated pressure tests
indicate a leak. If the error is not rectified before the set timeout period,
the water is automatically shut off and the system sends an alarm.
The tests may individually be deactivated and their sensitivity adjusted.
FREEZE GUARD
M3i+ has a built-in temperature sensor that measures the ambient temperature next
to the pressure sensor. At temperatures near zero there is a risk that the water will
freeze with leakage as a result. There is also a risk that the Leakomatic unit will
freeze and stop working. The frost guard warns if the temperature drops below 3° C
(adjustable).
LEAKOMATIC CLOUD
The control unit can be connected to the Leakomatic Cloud through built-in Wifi.
Before using the service, the control unit must be registered in the cloud service.
BEFORE INSTALLATION
Make sure the location where the M3i+ unit is installed has a Wifi connection. It is
not enough to check the strength of the signal (the number of bars) on your phone

since it only indicates the quality of the reception. Make sure the signal is strong
enough by opening an internet browser and surfing the web.
You need to know the name and the password of the Wifi network to which you
want to connect the M3i+ unit.
ACTIVATING YOUR LEAKOMATIC CLOUD ACCOUNT
You can control your Leakomatic device through the cloud service on a computer,
smart phone or a tablet. The cloud service can be found on the web address
https://cloud.leakomatic.com or you can download the Leakomatic app on
Google Play or Apple App Store.
1. Open Cloud in browser or download and start the app.
2. Create a Leakomatic Cloud account by clicking 'sign up' and fill in your
information.
3. You will receive an email that contains the verification link. Click the link to
activate your new Cloud account. Note! If you do not receive a confirmation email,
check your spam folder.
4. You can now log into the cloud service and the application with your new
account. Remember to keep your passwords in a safe place.
If you already have a Leakomatic Cloud account, you can add multiple devices on
the same account on the application or online.
CONNECTING THE M3i+ UNIT
1. Connect the M3i+ unit to a power source to begin installation. The green
"Network" light will start flashing. Activate the installation mode in a previously
connected device by keeping the mode button (Mode) pressed while connecting
to the power source.
2. Log into the application and select "Add the unit".
3. Follow the steps on the application and fill in the necessary information to
connect the M3i+ unit to the Wifi network.
4. The device connects to the cloud service through Wifi and connects to your
Leakomatic Cloud account.
The device receives information on possible new system updates through the cloud
service. New software will download automatically when it becomes available, and
the device will restart.

equipment's manual.
