INTRODUCTION 1.1 OVERVIEW Luminator Technology Group’s RR-GPS18x is a hardware accessory for RoadRunner Recorders. The RR- GPS18x software enables connecting the Recorder to the GPS unit and utilizing all of the features of the GPS unit. This firmware update will optimize the unit’s performance and ensure all functions are working as intended. -

3.2 INSTALLING THE FIRMWARE 3.2.1 DOWNLOAD 1. Download the Firmware zip file from (registration required) www.luminator.com 2. Under the SERVICE menu, choose ACCESS SECURE CONTENT and sign in or request an account. 3. After signing in, click DOWNLOAD CENTER under the SERVICE tab 4. -

Click on CONFIG>NMEA Sentence Selections>Disable all the unneeded selected sentences above and press OK. b. Click CONFIG>Send configuration to GPS. 3. Once connected to the networked Recorder, a live map view in RSM is visible. Right click on CAM 1 of the Recorder to confirm GPS is connected, and enable Google Maps and Speed Graph.
