Intended Purpose

Thank you for purchasing this Topcom Mediakit USB 100
The Mediakit is a 3-in-1 multi-functions product. It includes a USB Webcam, 3-Port USB 2.0
Hub and 2-Channel audio headset. The USB 2.0 3-Port Hub adds three more USB ports to
your computer, the USB Webcam accompanied with Headphone enables you to truly enjoy
audio and video conference via internet.

Mediakit USB 100 Utility installation
The mediakit software must be installed before connecting the device to
your USB port.
For the latest version of the utility software please look at our website:
http://www.topcom.net/support/downloads.php
Insert the Topcom Mediakit USB 100 CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive. The setup
menu will start up automatically.
If the program doesn't run automatically, click on START in the toolbar and select
Run. Enter D:\CD_Start.exe (if D in not your CD-ROM drive, enter the appropriate letter)
Select 'Install Mediakit Drivers'
The installation wizard will guide you through the process.
At the end of the installation, select 'Yes, I want to restart my computer now' and click
'Finish'.

Hardware installation

Connect one end of the provided USB cable to the Mediakit USB 100 and the other end to
your computer's USB port. When connected to your computer, Windows® will automatically
detect the new device. Complete the driver installation according to your Windows®
operation system. The installation wizard will guide you through the process.
In windows 98 SE, make sure you have your Windows® 98(SE) CD original
files available.
When the installation is finished, plug in the headset.
To use the Mediakit for video conference, select 'C-Media USB Headphone set' as audio
device and 'Mediakit USB 100 Video Camera' as Webcam in your communication
application.

Video Application.

The Mediakit 100 application is the support software to modify the video and audio settings.
It is installed during the installation of the Mediakit drivers.
Open the application by selecting : Start>Program files>Topcom Camera and select
'Mediakit 100'
The use of the Video application is described in the full user guide that you
can find on your CD.
