  • Page 4 5. Controleer voor gebruik of de condens-afdruipdeksel (met het rubber naar boven tegen de deksel aan) goed gemonteerd is op de schroef van de deksel. Zie afbeelding 2. 6. Sluit de deksel. U hoort of voelt nu een klik. Als de deksel niet goed is bevestigd zal het apparaat blokkeren en niet in werking treden.

    LET OP! 1. Spoel de rijst grondig af. Rijstzemelen kunnen namelijk gekookte rijst een onaangename geur geven. 2. Zorg voor ten minste 2 liter gekookte rijst. 3. Om droge, verkleurde en onaangename effecten van de gekookte rijst te voorkomen, moet u het apparaat constant en perfect afsluiten.

    15. Never use other parts than the ones which are from CaterChef. CaterChef is not taking any responsibilty for damage caused by the use of other (non-related) parts. 16. If you need to (re)connect, repair or maintain the applaince, do not do this by yourself.
  • Page 8 2. Place the rinsed rice in the saucepan and add water. Never cook more than the stated maximum of 5.4 liters. The desired water ratio may vary depending on the type of rice you use. 3. Wipe the cooking pan thoroughly and also check that the inner pan and the heating element do not contain food residues, dirt or dust.

    PAY ATTENTION! 1. Rinse the rice thoroughly. Rice bran can give cooked rice an unpleasant odor. 2. Provide at least 2 liters of cooked rice. 3. To avoid dry, discolored and unpleasant effects of the cooked rice, you must constantly and perfectly close the lid.
  • Page 10 If the appliance does not work or is damaged, check the following: 1. Whether the plug is in the socket; 2. Whether the plug and / or the cord is damaged. If it is nr. 2 or if another problem occurs, contact your local dealer or authorized service technician. According to Waste of Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) directive, WEEE should be separately collected and treated.
