OEM shrouds must be trimmed. Seat adjustments|FRONT: OEM |BACK: OEM Mid-row seat (Stow ‘n go) immediately behind LINK cannot be stowed. OEM wire harness must be cut and extended under seat. OEM wire harness must be cut and extended under seat.

The wiring must be extended 80 inches. This extension is placed near the seat connectors that are under the seat. The extension (80 inches) then passes under the LINK and loops around the back of the OEM seat – allowing the seat and the LINK to travel in and out of the vehicle.

BEFORE STARTING THE INSTALATION, PLEASE NOTE: If the LINK is being installed with a SPEEDY LIFT install the floor adapter brackets for the SPEEDY LIFT first. Remove the OEM seat and place it on a workbench or table. To do this, remove the plastic shroud and unbolt the seatbelt.

3. Unbolt the seat back from the seat base. Disconnect the wire harness between the seat cushion and the seat back. Unclip the upholstery to gain access to the harness. LINK Dodge Caravan|Chrysler Town & Country 2008 & up|Passenger FRONT – p.4...

5. Remove the seat base from the seat pan. The seat pan is held in place by four (4) bolted on clamps. Keep bolts for re-installation. Now remove the seat wiring harness. LINK Dodge Caravan|Chrysler Town & Country 2008 & up|Passenger FRONT – p.5...

Run the power from the battery to the LINK. To do this, thread the red power cable (+) under the doorstep molding and through the firewall. Make sure you pass through a grommet in the firewall to prevent the cable from chaffing. Install the circuit breaker near the battery and then connect the battery to the circuit breaker.

Remove the LINK from the shipping box and set it on a table or workbench. Connect auxiliary 12V power to the LINK. The LINK will ‘beep’ during the installation. (See LINK Audible Warnings chart for further references.) Next, connect the LINK to the Android tablet via Bluetooth. Connect the Bluetooth module (small, blue and white, 4 pronged connector) to the LINK pendant plug.

11. Place the LINK in the vehicle on the floor adapters. Use the four longer (3/8’’-16 x 1¼’’) socket cap bolts to secure the LINK by the pivot, and use the four shorter (3/8’’-16 x 7/8’’) bolts to secure the interior of the LINK.

Run the wiring extension out of the bottom right hand corner of the seat. Attach it securely with the provided zip ties. LINK Dodge Caravan|Chrysler Town & Country 2008 & up|Passenger FRONT – p.12...

20. Using the LINK IT application, use ‘BYPASS’ mode to ‘TILT’ the seat adapter up to facilitate the installation of the seat cushion and seat back onto the LINK seat adapter. Install the seat belt receiver onto the LINK. Place the seat back in position ready to be installed onto the seat adapter, run the seat connecter switch under the seat cushion to the approximate place where it will be reconnected.

22. Using the LINK IT application, use ‘BYPASS’ mode to ‘TILT’ the seat adapter up to facilitate the installation of the seat cushion onto the LINK. Place the seat pan onto the LINK. Use the four (4) OEM seat bots to secure the pan onto the LINK seat adaptor.

25. Install the provided plastic door edge to the flat plate on the side where it bolts to protect the seat belt. Reattach the flap at the lower back of the seat and then tighten down the previously installed zip ties and then reinstall the seat back. 29. Secure the seatbelt receiver to the side of the LINK seat adaptor using the OEM bolt from step #3. NOTE: On a seat with manual controls, the seat belt receiver bracket will require a self-tapping screw to fasten in place.

31. Pass the extension wire from the back of the seat under the LINK to the floor harness connector. (Note: Depending on the size of the connector, you may have to unbolt the four interior bolts to pass the extension LINK .) Make sure that there is enough loose in the wire harness for the LINK to travel.

Unplug the Bluetooth module and plug in the hand pendant. Make sure the LINK hand pendant is working properly. Cycle the LINK in and out a few times, both with and without a passenger to make sure all shrouds are properly installed and that nothing is rubbing or requires adjustment. Make a visual inspection while the LINK is in movement that all the wiring follows the seat and does not risk being severed at any time.

Diagnostic Mode will loop or cycle as long as you hold the power button.
