Step 2: Grasp the notebook with both hands as shown in Figure 2-6. Using your middle fingers, press on the
inside walls of the battery compartment to release the retaining latches. Once the latches release, do not
attempt to lift the palm-rest assembly completely off. Set the unit on the workbench and continue to the next
step.
