See below for the maximum allowable input and cautions. Connect one end of the Ethernet cable to the R5500’s Ethernet port and the other end to an Ethernet port on your router or PC. Connect the R5500 to its power adapter or battery pack (optional).

When used on a desktop or mounted in a rack, cabinet or enclosure, one must provide cooling to the R5500 by air convection across the embedded chassis’s top surface or via heat conduction by mounting the embedded chassis’s top surface to an appropriate heat conducting surface, capable of 15W of power dissipation.

USB console port. The R5500 provides a means for obtaining an IP address dynamically using DHCP or the manually setting of a static IP address. The unit is set to use DHCP by factory default or on factory reset.
