- Page 11 Understanding how the SCP-2 works The Slot.it SCP-2 is a sophisticated, microcontroller based, speed controller for slot cars. It has a PWM output for both power and brake, plus a lot of other features. Without entering too much into detail, PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) is one of the possible ways to control the output voltage of an electronic system.

Tecnitoys SDS: no braking is provided by Tecnitoys on their system, so there's no braking available with the SCP-2, either.
