AFTER USE

• Before you put down the tool, switch off
the motor and ensure that all moving
parts have come to a complete standstill
• After switching off the tool, never stop
the rotation of the accessory by a
lateral force applied against it
USE
1. Mounting of auxiliary handle (B)
! disconnect the plug
• mount auxiliary handle B as illustrated
and tighten both screws supplied with
hex key D
2. Mounting of accessories
! disconnect the plug
• clean spindle B and all parts to be
mounted
• screw VELCRO polisher pad A onto
spindle B while pushing spindle-lock
button C
! push spindle-lock button C only
when spindle B is at a standstill
• simply press wool bonnet
I onto VELCRO backing pad A
• for removing accessories handle
vice-versa
3. Before using the tool
• ensure that accessory is correctly
mounted and firmly tightened
• check if accessory runs freely by
turning it by hand
• test-run tool for at least 30 seconds at
highest no-load speed in a safe position
• stop immediately in case of
considerable vibration or other defects
and check tool to determine the cause
4. On/off
• switch on/off the tool by
pulling/releasing trigger G
5. Electronic soft-start
Ensures reaching the maximum speed
smoothly without a sudden impact when
tool is switched on
6. Switch locking for continuous use
• pull trigger G
• press knob J with your thumb
• unlock the switch by pulling again
trigger G and then releasing it
7. Speed control
• with wheel F the maximum speed can be
adjusted from low to high (600-3000)

• start with wheel F in position 600
(lower speed)
• if needed, select a higher speed while
the tool runs
• the optimal working speed depends on
the material and can be determined
with practical trials

8. Wool shield
Avoid wool to increase machine life
9. Operating the machine
• switch on the tool
• place the tool fully on the surface to be
polished and move it evenly by sections
• one move should overlap the previous
move by one half
• do not stop at a single spot to avoid
burning the coating
• do not move the tool in circles to avoid
staining or burning the coating
! before switching off the tool, you
should lift it from the workpiece
! the accessory continues to rotate for a
short time after the tool has been
switched off
10. Holding and guiding the tool
! while working, always hold the tool at
the grey-coloured grip area(s)
• always hold the tool firmly with both
hands, so you will have full control of
the tool at all times
• provide for a secure stance
! do not apply so much pressure on the
tool that it comes to a standstill
• keep ventilation slots L uncovered
MAINTENANCE / SERVICE
11. Protect the tool from impact, shock
and grease
12. Always keep tool and cord clean
(especially ventilation slots H)
! disconnect the plug before cleaning
! do not attempt to clean ventilation slots
by inserting pointed objects through
openings
