Check hitch bolts to 90Nm/66ft lb
Hitch
Lubricate
Jockey Wheel Inspect for condition and operation
Check for correct operation.
Breakaway
Inspect lanyard and clip.
Drawbar Inspect wiring grommets and general condition
Torque bolts to 190Nm/140ft lb
Grease bushes and check for play.
Suspension Check retaining chain shackles tight.
Inspect shock absorber for condition.
Inspect shock absorber bushes.
Brakes
Inspect and adjust. Check lining thickness and drum wear.
Replace bearings, seals and lubricate. Check stub axle condition and wear.
Wheel bearings
Replace split pin.
Inspect condition and torque to (125Nm/92ft lb ½" studs)
Wheel nuts (140Nm/103ft lb 14mm studs alloy rims) (200Nm/148ft lb 14mm studs
steel rims)
Inspect for abnormal wear, damage, and pressure.
Tires Check manufacturing date less than 5 years.
Check sidewalls for perishing and damage.
Check all trailer lights are functioning.
Lights Check plug pins have gap.
Check for corrosion.
Check terminals and voltage at full charge.
Battery
Check batteries are secure in cradles
Check battery charger settings are correct
Charging
Check DC TO DC Charger settings are correct
Check panels are free of damage.
Solar Panels
Inspect cable glands and sealants on penetrations through floor.
Inspect cables under body for damage to conduits.
