1-4. Installation/Connection

1-4-1. Fixing the main unit

Mount the main unit with M4 screws. The board thickness of the M4 fixing parts is 6 mm. For the screw fixing parts,
see the following dimensions.
Secure a sufficient engagement allowance (5 or more pitches recommended) to fix screws and bolts/nuts.
Positioning pins that match the sides of the main unit make it easier to mount the main unit.

1-4-2. Checking the target measurement object

The following figure shows the length measurement direction of the equipment. Length cannot be measured in a
direction vertical to the length measurement direction.
The measurement distance of the equipment is based on the sides of the unit.
Install the main unit so that the measurement distance is 70 mm to the side of the unit.
If vibration is expected to occur on the target measurement object, tolerate the measurement distance within ±15 mm.

* The measurement distance adjustment tool makes it easier to adjust the measurement distance or install a thin

See the section for the optional measurement distance adjustment tool.
