DISK PROTECTION FAQ

DCS Ka 50 Black Shark is protected using the DiscFree technology. The
technology allows a user to activate the game via the Internet and not to
use licensed media to run the game. Besides, the protection scheme with
activation via the Internet does not use the protection driver.
For details on the technology see:
http://www.star force.com/solutions/products/fl_disc/rescopy/
How to run a game with the DiscFree technology see section 7.
The game uses the Periodic Disc Check (PDS) technology as well. If you do
not have access to the Internet or you do not want to use activation via the
Internet for some reason, you can reduce the time required to run the game
and prevent your disc from being damaged. After the game runs for the
first time, with the disc in the drive, the disc is not required to run the game
within the next 7 days. After this period expires, you are prompted to insert
the disc in the drive and have your disc checked.
If you have problems with running the game and you think they are related
to the StarForce protection system, this topic is intended to significantly
reduce the time required to solve the problem and provide comprehensive
answers to all your questions.
