Operating Instructions
WARNING Risk of Serious Injury
When using an LSV grinder together with a circular cutting blade, the AluGuard cover
must always be securely attached.
Make sure that the operator understands and follows the instructions of both grinder

and guard.
To operate the tool, do the following:
1. Before starting the tool, hold it with a firm grip in the throttling hand.
2. Lift the AluGuard cover with the open support hand (A).
3. Lock the AluGuard cover in an open position by holding the tool support handle in a
steady grip, while resting the AluGuard cover handle inside the hand (B).
4. Start the tool. Always use a proper two hand grip during operation and mind your balance.
5. Do not overheat the cutter during operation.
Position A
The AluGuard cover is in the closed safety position.
Position B
The AluGuard cover is in the open operating position.
