    Technical Service. The use of spares that do not respond to the specifications listed below, changes or manipulations - however slight- shall exempt hydroscand Machine Ab from any responsability regarding the proper use and functioning of the cutting machine and safety of people and/or property.

  • Page 5: Equipment

    The manufacturer recommends a lockable main switch between the machine and the mains. PowerCut 5-85OT is prepared with a smoke evacuation connection and if a smoke evacuation is connected the manufacturer recommends to install a spark filter to prevent hazards.

    The hose cutting machine must only be used for hydraulic hoses compatible with the specifications below. Follow the environmental conditions and limitations recommended by hydroscand Machine Ab and current health and safety regulations. note ! The descriptions includes the use for which the machine has been designed, built and protected.

    Do ONLY use the machine to cut hydraulic hoses. When the machine is intended for cutting other kinds of hoses do ALWAYS contact hydroscand Mach- ine Ab for consultation in the matter. Ensure that every possible safety precaution is taken before starting up the machine.

When doing maintenance on the machine do always make sure that the machine is unplugged from the electrical net, pneumatic and do always press down the emergency switch. Taking these safety measurements ensures that no electrical tension is supplied to the machine that could make it start.
